The first cry of independence 

It Was The first time that the citizens of Quito expressed their desire to get rid of the Spanish yoke. On that day of 1809, a group of Patriots had a meeting at Manuela's house next to the Cathedral of Quito.

Captain Salinas, Morales, Quiroga were part of what they did in the place that could least be thought. The Patriots of Quito gathered at home had a moment of weakness thinking that they could fail the revolutionary movement.
